Queen Elizabeth II died on Thursday, at the age of 96.

It’s a sad day for her family and all of the United Kingdom, and condolences to everyone in mourning.

When looking back at her incredible life, we here at For The Win remembered one great sports-related moment: When she participated in the 2012 London Olympics Opening Ceremony and “jumped” out of a helicopter with James Bond (Daniel Craig).

Then she walked out into the ceremony with Prince Phillip, Duke of Edinburgh, and got a royal greeting.

It was delightful all around, a surprising moment from her line — “Good evening, Mr. Bond” — to the faux parachuting:
