Texas is hosting a plethora of top recruits in the 2023 class this weekend, but none more famous and likely important to the future of the program than five-star quarterback Arch Manning.
The Louisiana native is the unanimous No. 1 overall recruit across all recruiting sites, and if he were to to commit to Texas, it is likely many other top recruits would follow.
Steve Sarkisian and the Longhorn faithful are hoping to add Manning’s talent to help solidify the team’s quarterback room for the immediate future, as there is an expectation that Quinn Ewers will depart for the NFL the first chance he gets. The grandson of Archie, and nephew of Peyton and Eli Manning, the youngest Manning quarterback has practically every program vying for his services.
However, while his recruitment has been kept very quiet we do know there is a select few schools that are in the mix with Alabama, Georgia, and Texas viewed as the leaders.
Manning and his teammate tight end Will Randle, who also holds an offer from Texas, were spotted during their visit over the weekend.

This is Manning’s fifth trip to Austin, as he and a handful of other recruits got to tour the campus and watch a spring practice. As it currently stands, Texas is On3’s favorite to land Manning.
