Winter conditioning is underway in Austin. Texas begins its second offseason of lifting heavier weight as it builds toward a conference title run.
The offseason is a big deal for every Texas player and certainly fans would like an inside look at performance in practices. That said, one Longhorns newcomer might bring added intrigue.

Younger Texas fans grew up watching Arch’s uncles Peyton and Eli Manning compete for Super Bowls. That Manning would choose Texas is still hard to wrap one’s mind around, but certainly a positive outcome.

Fans could get an in-person look at the elite quarterback in the Spring Game on April 15.
