Longhorns Wire Roundtable: Worst, favorite moment of 2020 season

A look back at the best and worst moments of the Texas Longhorns 2020 college football regular season. The highs and the lows were apparent.

It’s safe to say that this college football season has had its fair share of ups and downs.

The Longhorns are not above that sentiment. Texas began the season with a Heisman candidate behind center in senior quarterback Sam Ehlinger, therefore aspirations and goals were understandably high. With the perennial champion Oklahoma Sooners looking at a down year with a freshman quarterback, the opportunity was there.

It wasn’t taken advantage of.

Even though Texas signed a top recruiting class in the country headlined by Bijan Robinson and Alfred Collins, everything seemed to change for a team trying to incorporate two new coordinators and a whole new staff essentially.

Given everything that transpired throughout the season, the Longhorns finished with a 6-3 overall record and 5-3 conference record. They can finish with a 7-3 record provided the team wins their bowl game.

With the regular season now behind us, each staff member chose the worst and best moments of the season.
