During the 2024-2025 campaign, each SEC team will face the other 15 teams at least once during league play. The continuation and renewal of historic rivalries were emphasized when creating the schedule, with new schools in Texas and Oklahoma joining the mix.
While the Longhorns won one tournament game during March Madness, they are joining a competitive conference. A record-tying 10 SEC teams earned postseason bids during the 2023-24 season. The conference also sent eight teams to the NCAA Tournament, tied for its best previous best.
Once the regular season ends, the battle for an SEC title will start on March 12 and conclude four days later. The 2025 SEC Men’s Basketball Tournament will be held at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.
Although a few games exact dates are still up in the air Longhorns fans can start marking their calendars especially in February. The Longhorns will host LSU on Feb.1, Vanderbilt on Feb.8 and South Carolina on Feb.8. In a new conference Texas will eager to prove themselves against a slate of new programs.
