The Green Bay Packers (1-1) are taking on the Tennessee Titans (0-2) on Sunday at Nissan Stadium in Nashville.
The Packers will attempt to win a second consecutive game without Jordan Love, who is officially inactive. The Titans are just trying to get into the win column in 2024.
A hot and humid day in Nashville will be the setting for Malik Willis’ return to Tennessee. Can the former Titans quarterback help the Packers get another win over an AFC South opponent?

Updates, highlights
Love inactive: The Packers made Jordan Love inactive for the second consecutive week. Malik Willis, the former Titan, will start at quarterback, with Sean Clifford — who was elevated from the practice squad on Saturday — as the backup. Cornerback Carrington Valentine and offensive lineman Jordan Morgan are also inactive, as expected.
Packers strike first: Malik Willis marched the Packers down the field, completing passes of 30 yards to Jayden Reed on the game’s first play and 30 yards to Christian Watson on 3rd-and-6 before finishing off the drive with a 5-yard touchdown run.

Titans answer: Will Levis and the Titans immediately answered the Packers’ opening drive touchdown with one of their own. Tennessee went 70 yards in 10 plays, with Levis hitting Nick Vannett for a 1-yard score to tie the game at 7-7.

Another scoring drive: The Packers re-took the lead on a short field goal from Brayden Narveson. Once again, Malik Willis powered the drive. He ran for 20 yards on 3rd-and-2, eight yards on 3rd-and-7 and 29 yards on 1st-and-10 to set up the score.

Drive-ending sack for Lukas Van Ness: A pressure from Rashan Gary sent Will Levis into the waiting arms of Van Ness, who violently escorted Levis to the turf and ended the Titans drive.

Packers lead 20-7 at half: Malik Willis delivered a strike to Christian Watson on 3rd-and-18 to set up a field goal as time expired in the first half. The Packers have 20 points and over 250 yards of total offense in the first half. A fantastic performance.
Fourth down stop: Quay Walker and Isaiah McDuffie teamed up to stuff Will Levis on 4th-and-1 from the Titans’ 37-yard line.

Packers rolling: On 2nd-and-15, Emanuel Wilson caught a swing pass, got a block from Josh Myers and raced into the end zone for a 30-yard touchdown. The drive was extended on a questionable penalty call on the Packers’ failed field goal attempt. Two plays later, the Packers are up 20 and rolling.

Titans respond: Will Levis and the Titans won’t go quietly. Levis completed four passes, including a 29-yarder to Tyjae Spears and an 11-yard touchdown pass to DeAndre Hopkins to keep the Titans in the game. The drive took only 3:30. With 20 minutes to go, the Packers lead by 13.
Huge play from Enagbare: The Packers needed a tide-turning play, and Kingsley Enagbare delivered it. With the Titans driving, Enagbare beat the right tackle and strip-sacked Will Levis, and Lukas Van Ness recovered the fumble. The Packers now have two takeaways. And a chance to go restore the three-score lead to start the fourth quarter.

Lead expands to 16: The Packers sacked Will Levis twice, forcing a punt, and then drove for a field goal to extend the lead to 30-14. Matt LaFleur’s team is a few minutes away from a 2-1 start and a 2-0 stretch with Malik Willis at quarterback.
X provides the dagger: Xavier McKinney is 3-for-3! The prized free agent acquisition ended the game with a leaping interception of Will Levis with just over two minutes left. Green Bay’s defense now has three takeaways in three straight games to start 2024. The Packers will be 2-1.
