List of the Bears’ 2023 free agents

Here’s a look at the Bears players set to hit the open market when free agency begins.

It’s been a busy few days for the Chicago Bears, where general manager Ryan Poles has made some tough but necessary moves in building his roster. With free agency about to kick off, it’s going to get even busier.

Free agency and the start of the new league year officially starts Wednesday at 3 p.m. CT. But before then, the legal tampering period opens on Monday at 11 a.m. CT, which is when we’ll start hearing about pending transactions.

The Bears will have around $75 million in salary cap space, according to Spotrac, which is the most in the NFL. Chicago has 28 in-house free agents after some early moves including re-signing Patrick Scales, Khari Blasingame and tendering Josh Blackwell.
