Lions TE Sam LaPorta exits game vs. Cardinals with ankle injury

He got hurt on the Lions’ final first-half TD. He was announced as questionable to return.

Detroit Lions tight end Sam LaPorta suffered an ankle at the end of the first half against the Arizona Cardinals and had to exit the game.

In the third quarter, it was announced that LaPorta had an ankle injury and was questionable to return. He went down on the Jahmyr Gibbs 20-yard touchdown with 29 seconds left in the first half.

LaPorta had two receptions for 36 yards before exiting the game.
