With the No. 46 overall pick in the 2022 NFL draft, the Detroit Lions select Kentucky EDGE Josh Paschal.

Paschal played as both a defensive end and outside linebacker for the Wildcats. He racked up 15.5 TFLs and 5.5 sacks in 2021. The 6-3, 268-pound Paschal was also an Academic All-American.

The pick was acquired in the Thursday night trade with the Minnesota Vikings that the Lions engineered to select wide receiver Jameson Williams at No. 12 overall.

The pick was announced by Detroit native and Lions fanatic Keegan Michael-Key.
