Lions score 17 points in last 3 minutes to jar Bears

The Lions surge past the Bears in the fourth quarter

These are not the same Detroit Lions. However, these are the same Chicago Bears.

Dan Campbell’s team got 17 points in the final 2:59 on Sunday to down the Bears, 31-26, in an NFC North clash.

The Bears led for much of the game and were up 26-14 after a Cairo Santos field goal with 4:15 left.

The culture change in Detroit was never more evident than the final minutes of the contest.

Jared Goff found Jameson Williams with a 32-yard TD pass. That was followed by a 73-yard drive, which ended with a David Montgomery one-yard run and subsequent 2-point conversion.

The finishing touch in the contest was Aidan Hutchinson separating the ball from Justin Fields and it went out of the end zone for a safety.
