Hip-hop legend Lil Wayne recently took some time to talk about a variety of topics with former NBA players Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson on their “All The Smoke” podcast.
Wayne ran down some of his favorite rappers in the game right now and he even named some of his favorite NBA players with Chris Paul and Russell Westbrook earning some love.
The rapper also spoke very highly about the top of the 2019 NBA Draft class with Zion Williamson and Ja Morant among his favorite players to watch these days.
“I’m a real big fan of Ja Morant,” Wayne said. “Man! He is a dog, bro! I really like Zion, as well, especially because he is holding down it for [New Orleans]. I really like Zion.”
Of course, Wayne is a noted Los Angeles Lakers fan but also has other players around the league he supports. Like everyone, Wayne is missing sports these days due to the coronavirus but he still made sure to shout out the players he enjoys watching.
