Rapper and celebrity Packers fan Lil Wayne released a new rendition of “Green and Yellow.” Fans may remember Lil Wayne released the initial take prior to the Packers’ win over the Steelers in Super Bowl XLV.
“I did a song before and we had a good turnout. It was successful. We had good results, and we’re going to try to do it again this time,” he said on “Skip and Shannon: Undisputed.”
According to Jenny Taft, moderator of “Undisputed,” he recorded the song this past week at the request of the Packers.

Lil Wayne says he has been a Packers fan ever since the team beat the Patriots in Super Bowl XXXI. He said his father attended the game and brought home a bunch of Packers merchandise for his family.
Fans are hoping history will repeat itself and the Packers end the season with a Super Bowl win. First, though, the Packers will have to fight their way through the playoffs, starting with the Rams.
