LeBron James wants to know if he could play college football

LeBron James, who played varsity football in high school, seems to be wondering if there’s still an opening for him on the gridiron.

LeBron James isn’t just one of the greatest NBA players ever, he is also considered one of the greatest physical specimens in the history of any sport.

It is generally believed that had he decided to do so, he could’ve had a fairly successful career as a football player, perhaps while playing wide receiver or tight end.

In fact, the NFL’s Seattle Seahawks made it known recently they would love to have him on their roster.

Now that James is about to start his 20th NBA season, his mind may be wandering a bit as far as what he’ll do when he’s done playing basketball. In fact, he went on Twitter and asked if he would be allowed to play college football, given that he never attended a university.

If playing NCAA football ever came to pass for James, it would be an interesting spectacle, although his haters would likely dismiss it as a publicity stunt.

Still, James could possibly excel there, especially given the lesser competition and the success he had playing varsity football at St. Vincent–St. Mary High School.
