LeBron James ruled out versus Nuggets due to ankle soreness

LeBron James will not suit up for the Lakers on Monday evening.

LeBron James has been playing at a level that has defied the insane amount of mileage he has accumulated throughout his 20-year NBA career, and the Los Angeles Lakers have prospered as a result.

They are on a five-game winning streak, and James has averaged 38 points on 58% shooting, 9 rebounds and 8 assists per game during that streak (he missed one of the team’s contests during that stretch).

Los Angeles will face the Denver Nuggets, who are in first place in the Western Conference, on the road on Monday, but they will have to go to battle with James in street clothes.

The Nuggets are tied for the NBA’s best home record, so it will be an uphill battle for the Purple and Gold.
