Many around the NBA and in the NBA have wondered whether LeBron James would publicly discuss the merits of the NBA’s potential return at Walt Disney World in Florida, James himself is spending his time and using his platform to continue speaking out on the issues that Black Americans have been facing for centuries.

LeBron James shared a gruesome photo of a lynching on his Twitter on Tuesday, but he wants people to face the very ugly history this country has with its treatment of Black people.

Then on Tuesday morning, James shared how the fear of law enforcement from Black people has an impact on even the youngest, sharing a photo of a young Black child hiding behind a car when he saw police coming, while he was simply shooting a basketball in front of his own home.

James has not joined Kyrie Irving or his Lakers teammates Avery Bradley and Dwight Howard in calling for the NBA players not to go to Orlando, but he is continuing to use his massive platform to shine a light on issues that have been historically ingrained problems in the United States.
