In the Leagues Cup final, Nashville SC welcomes Inter Miami to Geodis Park in Nashville Saturday. Kickoff is set for 9 p.m. ET. Below, we preview BetMGM Sportsbook’s lines around the Nashville vs. Inter Miami odds, and make our best expert soccer picks and predictions.

Nashville sits 4th in the Eastern Conference, having scored 31 goals and allowed 22 through 24 matches. In Leagues Cup action (a tournament featuring both MLS and Liga MX teams), it beat Colorado 2-1 and lost 4-3 to Toluca, still managing to advance to the knockout stage. It went on the road and beat East-leading FC Cincinnati 1-1 (5-4) in penalty kicks. It then beat Club America 2-2 (6-5) in penalty kicks. In the quarterfinal, Nashville obliterated Minnesota 5-0 and then took down Liga MX side Monterrey 2-0 to get to the final.

While Inter sits last in the East, the arrival of superstar F Lionel Messi has made Miami a must-watch team. It beat Cruz Azul 2-1 then Atlanta United 4-0 in the group stage. Miami beat Orlando City 3-1 in the Round of 32 and rallied from down 4-2 with 15 minutes left at FC Dallas to pull draw and win 5-3 in penalty kicks. Inter then beat Charlotte 4-0 and went on the road to Philadelphia and won 4-1 Tuesday.

Nashville SC vs. Inter Miami picks and predictions

Prediction

Inter Miami 2, Nashville SC 2 (Inter wins 5-4 penalty kicks)

Moneyline (ML)

SPRINKLE DRAW (+270).

Nashville has the offense to keep pace with Inter. F Hany Mukhtar leads the league with 13 goals. It also has the best defense in the East. It sits 2nd in save percentage and 3rd in dual percentage. D Walker Zimmerman had a masterclass performance against Monterrey as well.

For Inter, while it crushed Philadelphia, it had 4 goals and 4 shots on frame. It took care of the opportunities when they came, but the score wasn’t reflective of Miami’s chances. Expect Messi and company to continue dominating but at a lesser level.

Considering the value, put a small unit on DRAW (+270).

Over/Under (O/U)

BET OVER 3.5 (+120).

Miami has scored 3 or more goals in its last 5 matches. It had allowed a goal in 3 of its last 4 as well. It converted at a high rate against Philadelphia, which isn’t surprising and should replicate that success against Nashville. There’s no reason to believe Miami should be able to tally a few goals as it has consistently generated offense with Messi at the helm.

Nashville has gotten through the Leagues Cup with its offense – not defense. It has scored 15 goals through 6 games. Miami’s defense is not good and should be exploited enough for Nashville to get a couple on the board. Expect a high-scoring game and back the OVER 3.5 (+120).
