Arizona Cardinals linebacker Chandler Jones missed the team’s 37-20 win over the Cleveland Browns last weekend. He landed on the COVID list early last week after a positive test for COVID-19.
He is back in the building but he has not yet been activated, and it is possible that he is not in time before the Cardinals’ game Sunday at home against the Houston Texans.
“He’s working out and we’re just gauging his physical nature to see how much he can play, or if he can play,” Vance Joseph told reporters after practice Friday. “He’s here. He’s smiling. He’s in good spirits, so we;ll see how this works out.”
After 10 days out, there is conditioning to worry about.
We will need to watch for transactions tomorrow and see if Jones is one of the afternoon move they make so he can play against the Houston Texans.
