The 2022 NFL draft continues to draw closer and that means mock drafts are being released on the daily. As the case has been for the last several years, Alabama has several players that will hear their name called on draft day.
One name that Tide fans are sure to be excited to follow is wide receiver, Slade Bolden. Bolden finished his Alabama career with a total of 723 scrimmage yards and four total touchdowns. This past season, Bolden became a reliable target in the slot for Heisman winner Bryce Young.
With Bolden’s eyes set on the next level, one website has the former Alabama standout pairing with a familiar quarterback in Tua Tagovailoa.
Phin Phanatic released its latest mock draft and they have Bolden being selected by the Dolphins in the fifth round.
Bolden and Tagovailoa were teammates during the 2018 and 2019 college football seasons.
Bolden would be a solid pickup that late in the draft for the Dolphins and would provide a solid backup for the slot wide receiver position, allowing another former Crimson Tide star, Jaylen Waddle to become more versatile in the Miami offense.
