Latest bowl game predictions for Texas A&M football with regular season complete

Here are the latest bowl game projections for Texas A&M with the regular season now in the rearview mirror

Texas A&M (8-4, 5-3 SEC) ended the 2024 season on a low note after losing to rival Texas (11-1, 7-1 SEC) in the revival of the Lone Star Showdown, as the Aggies could never overcome the season-ending injury to star running back Le’Veon Moss.

However, brighter days are ahead with head coach Mike Elko’s second full offseason already underway, wrapping up Early Signing Day on Wednesday, resulting in 24 signees, including five-star wide receiver Jerome Myles and five-star offensive tackle Lamont Rogers.

Ending the season at 8-4, Texas A&M is guaranteed a bowl game, and a decent one at that, despite having much higher goals after missing out on the College Football Playoff and the program’s first appearance in the SEC Championship game.

According to three outlets, here are the latest bowl game predictions ahead of an exciting finish to the 2024 season:

College Football News:

TransPerfect Music City Bowl: Texas A&M vs. Minnesota

Date: Dec. 30

USA TODAY:

Las Vegas Bowl: Texas A&M vs. Southern California (USC)

Date: Dec. 27

Sports Illustrated:

TransPerfect Music City Bowl: Texas A&M vs. Iowa

Date: Dec. 30

The consensus is that the Aggies will play a Big Ten team in the TransPerfect Music City Bowl. With a bulk of the 2024 roster returning next season, this is another chance to practice this month, and quarterback Marcel Reed will have another opportunity to improve in the pocket.
