Las Vegas Raiders Allegiant Stadium tickets most expensive in NFL

Oakland Coliseum definitely had its faults .Fan atmosphere was not one of them. In part because the game day experience was among the most affordable in the league. And even if they didn’t always pack the joint in the lean years (there have been many), the crowd was always dominated by Raiders fans.

You can’t say the same since the team relocated to Las Vegas. Their swanky new Allegiant Stadium is routinely filled with visiting fanbases.

A big part of the reason why could be the cost of tickets. Other fans don’t mind paying it for one game in Vegas, but the average Raiders fan may have a good bit of trouble being able to shell out the cost of going to 8-10 games a season.

So, how does Allegiant compare to other stadiums in the NFL? Glad you asked, The folks over at NJ.bet went about ranking stadiums by price to attend a game. The Raiders came in with the highest average ticket price while Allegiant came in as the third most expensive game day experience.

The Raiders easily have the most expensive average ticket prices ($168.83), The next most expensive is the 49ers ($161.33). Then there’s a big dropoff for the Patriots ($142.74).

After factoring in average prices for parking, food, and drink, Allegiant ends up with the third most expensive game day experience ($212.81).

The only teams more expensive to attend a home game are the 49ers ($227.65) and Eagles ($213.51).

After the Raiders, there is a significant dropoff in game day pricing. The next most expensive is more than $18 cheaper (Packers) and seeing the Cowboys play at their luxurious digs is a full $26 cheaper.

The expensive price might be worth it if the fan experience was top notch. But Allegiant ranked 19th among stadiums in fan experience. This includes being ranked fourth worst in terms of parking a transit and only seven teams had a lower attendance percentage.

Something might have to change in terms of ticket prices
