The Los Angeles Lakers play the New York Knicks on Tuesday, and if you’re looking to do some last-minute betting research, you’re in luck! We’ll give you the latest point spread, money line odds and over-under number, as well as the information you’ll need to make the smartest bet at Tipico Sportsbook.

The game tips off at 7:30 p.m. ET and can be seen on TNT and Spectrum SportsNet.

Los Angeles (9-9) has momentum after a 17-point comeback win against the Detroit Pistons Sunday. Russell Westbrook and Anthony Davis combined for 56 points after dominating the fourth quarter in a stellar fashion to earn the win. LeBron James, however, is out because he was suspended one game for initiating a scuffle that turned bloody in the game.

New York (9-8) is also near .500 after recently losing to the Chicago Bulls. Julius Randle’s numbers have dipped, and Kemba Walker, Evan Fournier and RJ Barrett haven’t played to the standards the Knicks need.

The Knicks are also 4-5 at home compared to 5-3 on the road, so the Lakers, which has played six out of 18 games away, could steal a road win in Madison Square Garden if the intensity from the Pistons win carries over.

Lakers at Knicks notable injuries:

Lakers: OUT – LeBron James, Trevor Ariza, Kendrick Nunn; Probable – Anthony Davis; Doubtful – Austin Reaves

Knicks: OUT – Mitchell Robinson; Doubtful – Taj Gibson

Advice and prediction

The potential trajectory of this game changed when James’ suspension was announced. Now, the Lakers are down a matchup advantage. This will come down to how Westbrook and Davis perform. Their chemistry in the fourth quarter against Detroit was impeccable, but they’ll need help from players like Carmelo Anthony, Malik Monk and company.

Though L.A. hasn’t proved it can win consistently without LeBron, this might be a closer game than the spread indicates. Take the Lakers plus-5.5, Knicks plus-220 and the over 213.5.

Prediction: Knicks 114, Lakers 110
