Los Angeles (24-26) has dropped two games in a row after LeBron James exited the lineup with knee soreness. Anthony Davis is also dealing with a wrist injury, so their status could dictate the outcome of this one. Davis has a chance at playing while James has been ruled out.

Atlanta (23-25) is on a six-game winning streak, the second-best run in the league behind the Phoenix Suns. The Hawks have benefited from continuity with their key players, a component that the squad lacked during the first few months. L.A. took the first meeting of the season after James scored 32 points, but this one looks more precarious for the Lakers.
