Although some were skeptical when it was first announced, the NBA in-season tournament is shaping up to be a success. Players and fans alike seem to like the tourney, as well as the alternate courts used for each game.
The Los Angeles Lakers began their group play games with a come-from-behind win over the Phoenix Suns on Friday, 122-119. They followed that with another victory on Sunday versus the Portland Trail Blazers, 116-110.
On Tuesday, the Purple and Gold will face the Memphis Grizzlies at Crypto.com Arena in their second group play game of the season. That means they will break out their alternate court and City Edition uniforms for the first time.
The @Lakers will be rocking their new City Edition Jerseys while debuting their NBA In-Season Tournament court for West Group A Play tonight 🤩

A win would not only keep L.A. in contention for the knockout rounds, but it would also be its third win in a row and give it the type of momentum it hasn’t had yet this season.
