The Los Angeles Lakers will once again be without one of their key players as they will give Kentavious Caldwell-Pope another night off from the court to recover from a sprained ankle he suffered earlier in the road trip, according to head coach Frank Vogel. In KCP’s place, as has been the case this season, Kyle Kuzma will move into the starting lineup.

The Lakers have won their last three games and have an excellent chance to earn their fourth straight win and complete a sweep of their first road trip later this evening. The Lakers have been excellent over the course of the road trip, shooting over 40% from the 3-point line as a team.

The Grizzlies have been a difficult team to read ever since losing their star point guard Ja Morant. With young talents like Dillon Brooks and Brandon Clarke, as well as center Jonas Valanciunas, they likely won’t provide an easy adversary, especially in the second straight outing against them.
