The Los Angeles Lakers had a big win against the Indiana Pacers, and it wouldn’t have been possible without LeBron James.
James needed to step up in a major way with Anthony Davis out with a fever.
The soon-to-be 37-year-old forward did just that.
After a relatively ho-hum first half in which he still managed to drop 17 points, James exploded late in the fourth quarter and in overtime.
The Lakers finally took a lead late in the fourth quarter, and James and Wayne Ellington were the key ingredients to the success.
When it was close-out time, LeBron stepped up at the end of regulation and overtime and hit deep 3 to seal the win. He pulled out “The Silencer” and the Sam Cassell celebration in a 39-point performance.
