Lakers’ Kent Bazemore felt sick seeing Warriors reach NBA Finals

Lakers swingman Kent Bazemore may be regretting his decision to leave the Warriors last summer.

Last season, Kent Bazemore played for a Golden State Warriors team that lost in the play-in tournament and failed to reach the NBA playoffs for the second year in a row.

Believing he would have a shot at winning the world championship, he signed as a free agent with the Los Angeles Lakers last summer.

Instead of getting to play for a ring, his new team missed the playoffs while his old team will be in the NBA Finals that start this week.

Bazemore gave his old teammates props for getting to the championship series, but he may be feeling a bit of regret for leaving them.

Via Lakers Daily:

“Kent Bazemore congratulated his former Warriors teammates on Twitter. However, he stated that he can’t help but feel “sick,” probably because his current team, the Los Angeles Lakers, did not even reach the postseason this year.”

Not only did Bazemore cost himself a great shot at a championship, but he also lost more than that by leaving the Warriors and joining L.A.

A few weeks ago, Bazemore admitted he may be open to staying with the Lakers next season. But with the success with his old team, it remains to be seen if he still feels that way.
