Lakers’ Kendrick Nunn to be evaluated in 2-3 weeks with knee injury

Los Angeles Lakers guard Kendrick Nunn is the latest member of the team to be out multiple weeks with an injury.

Los Angeles Lakers guard Kendrick Nunn has a knee injury and will be evaluated in 2-to-3 weeks, head coach Frank Vogel said after Thursday’s practice.

Nunn, who was originally nursing an ankle injury, had imaging done when he felt soreness. The imaging revealed a bone bruise on his right knee.

Nunn is the latest Laker to be out multiple weeks with an injury. Trevor Ariza and Talen Horton-Tucker are each out, and Wayne Ellington will miss Friday’s game against the Phoenix Suns.

The Lakers signed Nunn to a two-year deal worth the full taxpayer MLE of over $10 million, so he marked L.A.’s most expensive signing of the summer.
