Advice and prediction
The Lakers won’t have Andre Drummond again but as we saw on Friday, more Marc Gasol minutes is probably the best thing for L.A. Especially without LeBron James and Anthony Davis, the Lakers need someone with elite passing ability and basketball IQ on the floor more. Gasol’s able to direct traffic, almost like a point guard from the center position on both ends, helped the Lakers stay steady against Sacramento.
The Lakers are rightfully massive underdogs against the Clippers. But to get personal for a moment as a bettor, I don’t believe much in these Clippers. And while the offense is always going to be a crapshoot, I believe in the Lakers defense enough not to get blown out on national television while everyone is watching them during Easter brunch. The presence of National TV Rondo makes things more interesting for the Clippers, but the Lakers defense has been their anchor all season.

The Lakers are going to keep it close, but I don’t think they’ll win. Lock it in and take the points, perhaps even take a swing at the money line if you’re feeling lucky. The game is going to be closer to coin flip than a blowout. I also think this afternoon will be a good time to take the under.
