The University of Tennessee volleyball team was scheduled to open its spring portion of the Southeastern Conference schedule Feb. 5-6 at Texas A&M.
That series, however, has been postponed due to positive COVID-19 tests and contact tracing in the Aggies’ program.
Opportunities to reschedule will be evaluated at a later date.
The Lady Vols went 4-4 in their fall matches and will now open the its spring season at home against Missouri, featuring a two-game series at Thompson-Boling Arena that begins on Feb. 12.
A decision to postpone the matches is consistent with COVID-19 management requirements developed by the SEC Medical Guidance Task Force.
