Lady Vols remain undefeated by shutting out South Florida.

A pair of late goals propelled Tennessee into the win column Thursday night on the road.

Brooke Wilson and Mackenzie George each tallied in the second half to lift the No. 22 Lady Vols to a 2-0 victory over No. 23 South Florida at Corbett Stadium in Tampa, Florida.

Wilson scored her third marker of the 2021 campaign to give Tennessee (5-0-0) a 1-0 lead in the 74th minute of the match. Jordan Fusco recorded an assist on the first goal of the match.

The Lady Vols sealed their victory a short time later when Mackenzie George scored her first goal of the season, an unassisted marker, in the 82nd minute.

The Bulls (3-2-0) outshot Tennessee, 18-14, but the Lady Vols had 10 of their shots land on target while South Florida had just three of its shots land on frame.

Tennessee has not conceded a goal in 2021 and recorded three saves from goalkeeper Lindsey Romig against South Florida.
