Lady Vols record second consecutive conference tie at Mississippi State.

Tennessee (6-2-3, 1-1-2 SEC) and Mississippi State (6-3-3, 1-2-1 SEC) played to a 3-3 tie Friday at MSU Soccer Field in Starkville, Mississippi.

Friday’s contest is the second consecutive Southeastern Conference tie for the Lady Vols. Tennessee tied South Carolina, 1-1, on Sunday.

Tennessee tied Mississippi State after trailing, 3-0.

Mississippi State led, 1-0, in the 29th minute after Hannah Johnson scored her third goal of the season. Ally Perry scored for Mississippi State in the 43rd minute.

Johnson scored her second goal in the 54th minute.

Sizzy Lawton scored an unassisted goal for Tennessee in the 73rd minute. Tennessee scored again in the 78th minute (Jordan Fusco).

The Lady Vols scored for a final time after own goal by Mississippi State.

The Bulldogs outshot Tennessee, 23-14.
