Lady Vols projected to finish second by SEC coaches

Tennessee softball is projected to finish second by SEC coaches.

Tennessee is projected to finish second in the Southeastern Conference by league coaches.

The Lady Vols received 126 points and garnered three first-place votes.

Florida is projected to win the SEC in 2023.

Opening day for the Lady Vols is slated for Feb. 10 at the NFCA Leadoff Classic in Clearwater, Florida. Tennessee will play a doubleheader against Howard and Illinois.

All-Americans Ashley Rogers and Kiki Milloy return to Tennessee in 2023. Rogers and Milloy were named to the 2023 USA Softball Top 50 watch list for Player of the Year.

Other returners for the Lady Vols include Lair Beautae, McKenna Gibson, Zaida Puni and Rylie West.
