Tennessee women’s golf team concluded its stay at the Cougar Classic, hosted by College of Charleston Tuesday.
The Lady Vols finished the three-round event in 15th place with a team score of 883, 19-over par, in the 17-team event.
Arkansas claimed the tournament championship with a combined team score of (841), followed by Baylor (842), Florida (851), Georgia (852), North Carolina (851), Central Florida (861), Vanderbilt (866), Clemson (869), Miami (872), Furman (877), Wisconsin (877), Michigan State (878), Penn State (880), North Carolina State (881), the Lady Vols (883), Maryland (887) and the host Cougars (889).
Tennessee’s Hadley Walts, who was competing as an individual, posted a top-25 finish. She finished tied for 24th, shooting par with a three-round total of 216.
Nicole Whiston led the Lady Vols with score of 219. She finished tied for 35th. Mikayla Bardwell carded a 220 and came in tied for 46th. UT teammates Bailey Davis and Vanessa Gilly (224) finished tied for 66. Kayla Holden finished tied for 73rd with a score of 225.
