No. 17 Tennessee continued its perfect record Sunday against Louisiana.
The Lady Vols recorded its fourth consecutive shutout, defeating Louisiana, 4-0, at Regal Soccer Stadium.
Four Lady Vols scored in the contest.
Wrenne French scored her first goal of the season in the 10th minute. Hannah Tillett recorded an assist on the marker, which represented the lone scoring of the first half.
Tennessee (4-0) tallied three times after halftime. Tara Katz scored her first goal of the season and gave the Lady Vols a 2-0 lead in the 47th minute.
Taylor Huff extended Tennessee’s advantage to 3-0 with her fourth goal of the season in the 63rd minute of the match.
Brooke Wilson closed out Tennessee’s scoring against Louisiana (1-3) in the 76th minute.
Goalkeepers Ashley Gabor and McKenzie Haba combined for the shutout. Gabor started and made two saves before giving way to Haba, who played approximately five minutes.
