No. 7 Tennessee (19-2, 8-1 SEC) defeated Arkansas (14-7, 4-4), 86-83 in overtime, Monday at Thompson-Boling Arena.
The win ended Tennessee’s one-game Southeastern Conference losing streak.
The Lady Vols trailed throughout much of the game and 41-34 at halftime.
Jordan Horston finished with a double-double, totaling 24 points and 11 rebounds. Rae Burrell added 21 points and eight rebounds, while Tamari Key had 14 points, nine rebounds and five blocks.
Key also made a career-high eight free throws for the Lady Vols.
Amber Ramirez led Arkansas with 29 points and made five 3-point attempts. She missed a three-point attempt that would have sent the contest to a second overtime as time expired.
Samara Spencer had 17 points for Arkansas.
