Kyrie Irving discusses how he became an ambidextrous ballhandler

In an Uninterrupted episode of ‘The Show’, Kyrie Irving opened up about how he became an ambidextrous playmaker.

Kyrie Irving has earned a reputation as one of the best ballhandlers in the history of basketball and absolutely sits atop of current players.

Earlier this week a preview for the upcoming Uninterrupted episode of ‘The Shop’, Kyrie Irving discussed how uncomfortable it was at times to play with both LeBron James and teammate Kevin Durant.

In the full episode, Irving discussed how he learned to control the ball with both hands, re-telling the story of how he was born left-handed. In the round-table Irving opened up, “Catholic school didn’t let me stay left-handed… Absolutely [I was left-handed]. I was getting slapped on the hand for writing with my left hand. That was old-school, this was 96.”

Renowned actress Drew Barrymore asked Irving how he feels when he touches the ball with his left hand. Irving responded, “Natural, both sides of my brain are unlocked, if you’re asking me.”
