Kyle O’Quinn has better midrange rating than Jimmy Butler in NBA2K21

Philadelphia 76ers big man Kyle O’Quinn has a higher midrange rating than Jimmy Butler in NBA2K21.

The popular video game NBA2K21 has been released despite there not being a clear start date just yet for the 2020-21 NBA season and it has been downloaded to most consoles across the globe as everyone gets their copy of the game.

However, there seems to be a few ratings that seem a bit surprising.

For example, Philadelphia 76ers big man Kyle O’Quinn has a higher midrange rating than Miami Heat star Jimmy Butler. O’Quinn’s midrange rating came out to 88 and Butler’s is at 66.

O’Quinn played in 29 games in his first Sixers season and he averaged 3.5 points and 4.0 rebounds while Butler just finished up a tremendous season leading the Heat to the NBA Finals. If anybody would like to see their shot dashboards per NBA Stats, O’Quinn’s is here and Butler’s is here.

Not that O’Quinn does not deserve the rating as he has shown that he can knock down some shots from the midrange and even out to the 3-point line, but Butler is obviously the superior player. It is strange to see their ratings come out that way. [lawrence-related id=38629,38623,38620]
