The New Orleans Saints will be getting some help against the Seattle Seahawks on Monday Night Football. Former LSU Tigers linebacker Kwon Alexander will be suiting up after being activated from the injured reserve list.
Alexander has been on the IR since he suffered an elbow injury following Achilles surgery in the offseason. He likely will see the field in obvious passing situations for the Saints’ defense.
Alexander is in his second season with the Saints after stops with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and San Francisco 49ers. He was named to the NFL Pro Bowl in 2017 and the PFWA All-Rookie Team in 2015. He was drafted by Tampa Bay in the fourth round of the 2015 NFL Draft.
Marcus Davenport, Tre'Quan Smith and Kwon Alexander have been activated from IR and will play tonight against the Seahawks.
Plus, Kevin White got called up from the practice squad.
