The UFC middleweight has been forced to withdraw from his bout against Makhmud Muradov on Oct. 31 at UFC on ESPN+ 39 in Las Vegas. Jotko (22-4 MMA, 9-4 UFC) announced the news Sunday.

“Unfortunately, my next fight against Makhmud won’t happen,” Jotko posted on Twitter. “This camp wasn’t easy from the start. Few days ago at sparring, I broke my toe, so there is no way to fight. So sorry @MakhmudMuradov that I’m out from the fight with 2 weeks notice. Hope to see you soon in the octagon!”

The UFC has yet to make an official announcement on Jotko’s withdrawal or a potential replacement opponent for Muradov.

Jotko was coming off a decision win over Eryk Anders in May. The victory extended Jotko’s winning streak to three. Prior to that, the Polish fighter had three straight losses.
