Korey ‘KJ’ Duff is locked in for a Rutgers official visit in June

Korey Duff will be taking an official visit to Rutgers football in early June.

Long Island standout wide receiver Korey ‘KJ’ Duff will be taking an official visit to Rutgers football in early June. While the official visit was expected, it is nonetheless a key development for the 2024 Rutgers football recruiting class.

One of the top players in the New Jersey and New York region, Duff is ranked a four-star by On3 and a three-star recruit according to Rivals and 247Sports. Rutgers made Duff’s top seven, which was released on May 15.

With position flexivility, Duff could line up as a wide receiver or a tight end. He is a solid 6-foot-5, 200-pounds which has made him a solid downfield target for for St. Anthony’s (Melville, N.Y.). Last season in nine games, Duff had 35 catches for 682 receiving yards with five touchdowns.

He is a priority recruit for Rutgers as one of the top prospects in the region in the 2024 class. Miami, North Carolina and Syracuse are also involved in his recruitment.

Rutgers currently has eight commits in the 2024 recruiting class. Six of the recruits are on the offensive side of the ball with one wide receiver, Isaiah Crumpler.

Crumpler is also a four-star recruit according to On3 where he is ranked the fifth-best player in North Carolina.
