The Lakers unveiled the first of what will eventually be three Kobe Bryant statues outside of Crypo.com Arena. Unfortunately, Kobe is no longer with us but will always be remembered as one of the greatest athletes and competitors ever. 
The date 2/8/24 is significant to the Black Mambas legacy as it represents his two jersey numbers (8 and 24) and his daughter Gianna’s number (2). Kobe’s passing still hurts to this day, but moments like this help fans remember and reminisce on all of the great memories Bryant gave them.
