Although Golden State’s streak of five consecutive appearances in the NBA Finals is over, the Warriors will be well represented in the 2020 NBA Finals.
After ex-Warriors JaVale McGee and Quinn Cook advanced to the championship series with the Los Angeles Lakers, it was time for Golden State’s former sixth-man to punch his ticket to the NBA Finals.
With the Miami Heat’s 125-113 win over the Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference Finals, Andre Iguodala has earned his spot in the NBA Finals. The 2020 edition of the NBA Championship will be Iguodala’s sixth straight trip to the Finals.
Following the Heat’s clinch, Iguodala’s former teammates congratulated him on social media. Klay Thompson shared a video on his Instagram story with a lyric from DJ Khaled’s “All I Do Is Win.”

Iguodala’s game six performance should make the Splash Brothers proud. The veteran forward buried all four of his 3-point attempts off the bench to finish the game with 15 points on 5-of-5 shooting from the field in 28 minutes.
The NBA Finals between the Heat and Lakers will tipoff on Wednesday at 6 P.M. PT.
