After sitting on Friday with a left calf injury, Sacramento Kings rookie Tyrese Haliburton will be evaluated on Saturday to determine his availability to play on Sunday versus the Charlotte Hornets.
Kings head coach Luke Walton said after their win over the Detroit Pistons that the team will have a better idea of the severity of the issue following further evaluation. The absence by Haliburton marked just his third of the season.
The win by the Kings snapped a nine-game losing streak as each starter finished in double figures, with De’Aaron Fox leading the way with 27 points. Sacramento improved to 13-20 on the season with the victory over Detroit.
