In the aftermath of a decisive win by the Boston Celtics against the Sacramento Kings in the second tilt of their annual West Coast swing, Boston head coach Joe Mazzulla received a fair amount of praise from Kings head coach Mike Brown.
Despite missing key players like star forward Jayson Tatum and veteran big man Al Horford, the Celtics showed off an unstoppable offense, earning a victory with 35 assists on 51 made baskets. Brown lauded Mazzulla for his coaching skill, acknowledging the Celtics’ domination on both ends as Boston bounced back from a tough overtime loss to the Golden State Warriors the game prior.
The hosts of the CLNS Media “How Bout Them Celtics!” podcast recently weighed in on Brown’s praise of Mazzulla, as well as the Celtics coach’s growth in that role, on a recent episode.
