In the fourth quarter of LSU’s 81-36 blowout win over Northwestern State on Sunday, coach [autotag]Kim Mulkey[/autotag] was ejected following a heated exchange with the officials.
Forward [autotag]Aneesah Morrow[/autotag] was called for a charge while driving to the basket, and Mulkey wasn’t pleased. After voicing her frustrations, she was hit with a pair of technical fouls and was ultimately tossed from the game.
Following the win, Mulkey addressed the ejection with reporters, but she didn’t seem too concerned about it.
“I’ve been tossed before,” she said, per On3. “It was time.”
LSU has won 11 games in a row since it lost its season opener to Colorado in Las Vegas, and it will take the court one more time before the holidays as it travels to Baltimore to take on Coppin State on Wednesday night.
