The ACC on Monday announced kickoff times for Week 8 games, including the No. 10 Clemson Tigers‘ matchup against the Virginia Cavaliers in Death Valley on Oct. 19.
The Tigers (4-1) and Cavaliers (4-1) will kick off at noon ET from Clemson Memorial Stadium. The game will be televised on ACC Network.
This will mark the 50th meeting between the two schools. Clemson leads the all-time series, 40-8-1 and has won the last five meetings against Virginia dating back to the 2008 season. The Tigers haven’t played the Cavaliers since October 2020, a 41-23 Clemson victory in Death Valley.
Dabo Swinney is 5-0 in his coaching career against Virginia, including the Tigers’ 62-17 win in the 2019 ACC Championship Game in Charlotte.
Clemson is coming off a 29-13 win over Florida State in Tallahassee for its fourth straight victory. Virginia improved to 4-1 with a 24-14 win over Boston College in Charlottesville over the weekend.
