Kicker Jonathan Weitz’s first career field goal gives Clemson a 3-0 lead over Florida State

Weitz hits his first career field goal as the Tigers take the lead.

Cade Klubnik and the Clemson offense looked strong on their second drive of the game as the Tigers went 15 plays for 79 yards, resulting in a field goal.

While many would expect the Clemson offense to impress with their run game, it has been Klubnik and the passing game that has shined early. Klubnik is 7-12 for 85 yards on the day so far.

The drive was capped off with the first career field goal of Jonathan Weitz’s career, nailing a 30-yarder. While you would like a touchdown there, this has been a great start for Swinney’s team.

The defense has come to play, and the offense is producing well.
