Kevin Durant tells Nets fans to stop treating him like the enemy

Kevin Durant wants fans of the Brooklyn Nets to stop treating him like he’s the enemy.

The 2022-23 NBA season has come to a close, but it seems that the Brooklyn Nets have not been able to rid themselves of the drama of the Kevin Durant/Kyrie Irving era. Durant, now a member of the Phoenix Suns, has been reacting to Nets fans accusing the future Hall-of-Famer of various things that happened during Durant’s time in Brooklyn.

For example, after Denver Nuggets wing, and current NBA champion, Bruce Brown said recently on The Dan LeBatard Show that he knows that everyone in the front office wanted him to stay with the Nets, fans of the Nets surmised that Durant was the one that didn’t want Brown back in Brooklyn.

What makes this interesting is that there is no indication of any animosity between Durant and Brown. If anything, it seemed that they enjoyed playing together since Brown was the swiss army knife that allowed the Nets to be a unique team on offense. For now, it seems that Durant will spend this summer defending himself against the same Nets fans that used to cheer for him.
