Kevin Durant calls out Stephen A. Smith, Skip Bayless on Twitter

Kevin Durant sounded off after TV hosts were debating who changed basketball for the worse: Stephen Curry or Michael Jordan.

Brooklyn Nets superstar Kevin Durant took to Twitter to react to a First Take segment discussing whether Stephen Curry has changed the game for the better or for the worse.

Smith credits Stephen Curry with “elevating” the game, but not necessarily changing the way it is played. According to Smith, Mike D’Antoni is responsible for the massive uptick in 3-pointers league-wide, whereas Curry just made that style acceptable with his shooting ability.

Smith claims that Michael Jordan is responsible for changing the game for the worse more than Curry.

“He was so phenomenal that the NBA marketed the individual, the audience gravitated towards the individual,” said Smith. “The game became a bit more individualized because people wanted to be like Mike.”

Kevin Durant felt the need to call out Smith, along with Skip Bayless and Shannon Sharpe hosts from Fox Sports’s Undisputed.

Kevin Durant is an active Twitter user who spreads his opinions and this isn’t the first time that Durant has bumped heads with analysts.
