Kentucky football played their worst game of the season on Saturday night against the Vanderbilt Commodores, and they lost 20 – 13. They had gotten votes in the top 25 polls the previous two weeks, but the US LBM Coaches Poll this week had them with no votes once again, and now the AP Top 25 poll has also shut them out.
The Wildcats are now 3 – 3 on the season, and continue to struggle on the offensive side of the ball. They have a very nice win against Ole Miss, and nearly beat the Georgia Bulldogs, but have looked bad in losses to South Carolina and Vanderbilt.

Just like the Coaches Poll, the SEC placed eight teams in the AP Top 25, led by Texas at number one. Three more teams from the conference were in the “received votes” category, including Vanderbilt.
Kentucky will try and rebound against the Florida Gators next week, but it will likely take more consistency before they find themselves ranked again.
